I have a home!

Foster mom said I need to stop sleeping in the dirty laundry pile and let all my admiring fans know what's going on.

I have a forever home! There are other puppies there my size and I really want to play with one of them. I think they have good cookies there and I think I've been promised toys... The are some scary stairs there, but the cookies will be worth it!

I go home with my new mommy on New Years Day. A new year and a new start in life. Going to be one busy day for me!
I want to thank the family of my old forever home, everyone that let me sleep in their homes, all my car drivers in my journey, the plane pilots, BDRA, the eye Dr, the surgery vet, and all my other friends along the way. It was a huge effort made by a lot of special people that have an old pup like me a new chance to sleep in a warm cushy bed. And to play with toys of course! My eyes don't hurt anymore and I'm loving my life.

Snow?

I do not like this white stuff. Please take me back to Alabama.

No stitches!

Look I have no stitches! My eyes have a little swelling, but if I'm really good today the cone of shame doesn't have to go back on.

Mean foster mommy

I have some good news and sad news. I get my stitches out tomorrow morning! Foster mommy said I don't have to wear the cone of shame today!

I'm still on crate rest... I had to get a bath! I was scrubbed three times! Then all my good smelling covers were washed! This is a cruel world. I worked hard to get those covers smelling right.

Now I'm sobbing in my crate and no one cares! I refuse to chew my chewy. Two weeks of living in a crate is horrible.
Foster mom says it was so I healed quick and perfect from my surgery but I still think she's a meanie.

I hope Santa is nicer. Can't wait to see if I get some presents!

Three more days

Until this stupid cone leaves and I get my stitches out! My eyes look all healed. My right eye is a little bubbled out but that's just the way it healed. Can't wait to see what the dr says! I bet she will be super impressed with my healing powers. And they say older dogs heal slower. ..

8 more days

Until I get my stitches out! I can't wait to go play with my toys again. This crate rest is so boring! I still am waiting for my forever home. Will it be you?

Crazy!

My foster mom needs a talk. She does not understand that I have stuff to do! She's keeping me in a leash and in a crate. It's torture! Someone need to help me! Foster Mom needs to know that my eyes are all better! I have sniffs to sniff, cookies to eat, stuffies to play with, kisses to give, and a forever family to find! No more crate and leashes!

Back home!

I'm back home! Two weeks and I can have my stitches out. Crate rest and leash walks until then! I'm bored already....

I feel better!

I'm sitting here wait at the vets.. Foster Mommy is going to pick me up tonight. My stitches don't really itch yet so that's good. The best thing is that my eyes don't hurt anymore! No more eye drops! No more pain! I'm having fun with everyone at the vet office. They love my kisses and I've been eating all the food they give me. I love my food... They tell me I should get my stitches out on Christmas Eve then I can go play with my toys again. Maybe Santa will bring me some for Christmas? If he can't bring me a forever home I bet he could do some new toys...

Remember if you want to bring me home and have me snuggle with you and protect you from the naughty toys put an quick application in here.

Meeting dogs at the vet

I met a very interesting dog at the vet's waiting room this morning...

Out takes

Silly foster mom wanted to get some pics before my surgery. I refused to hold still. There was to much to do and smell. She just couldn't keep up with the action.

Surgery

I'm having surgery on my eyes today to make them feel better. Here I am in my crate. I'm waiting to get out and sniff!

Snuggling

I am an excellent snuggler

Beauty day?

So once a week here in my foster home everyone gets beauty treatment. This was my first time joining in! I was brushed, wiped down with a rag sprayed with vinegar (foster mom is allergic to us and this helps her), Had my ears looked at and my toes done! I didn't like smelling like vinegar and quick wiggled and rolled on the carpet! Foster Mom missed that on video!

Look at me being a big girl!

Behaving and getting my toes dremelled

This is a HUGE big loud dremel too! It's ment to be used for the giant dogs here. I was very brave! and even got cookies afterwards.

My first Pet Fair!

I had such a busy day Saturday! We drove forever to get to a Pet Fair. I've never been to one before but it was fun! I very politely met dozens of leashed dogs and tons of people who stopped to pet me. I was working really hard to find my forever home. I even had glamour shots done by Perfect Day Photography. If anyone is interested in them their website is www.perfectdayphotography.com they were so nice!

I may not be able to see but I can smell those stuffies!

I want I want I want

Smells like toys...

Maybe if I sit here and look cute?

Please can I have one?

Come on.. You know you want to give me one

please......

Finally!!!!!!!!! The lady in the booth gave me one!

I worked really hard but didn't find my forever home there. Remeber if your interested in bringing me home fill out a quick easy application here http://www.blinddogrescue.com/adoptionapplication.html

Busy week!

I went to see an ophthalmologist this week! We waited forever!

Look I'm being a super good pup!

Getting bored...

Come on Foster Mom! Lets go explore!

Bored...

Maybe I'll just close my eyes for a minute...

The best news is that now we have a plan to get my eyes all better! The Dr verified that I can't see anything, but they can fix it so my eyes don't hurt. I'm so excited! It may happen this week.
