Since Aggie has been here a little while now I thought I would let everyone know more of the important details about her.
She seems to be completely blind, but this is my first time dealing with a blind dog. She's pretty darn normal to me! Within a day she had the house mapped out and knew where everything is. She will sometimes bump into thing in the yard, but quickly will reroute around them. Aggie is a cheerful little pup that doesn't act much like a small dog. She's pretty quiet, not much barking at all. She doe snort sniffle and make other endearing noises. She would be perfect for apartment living since she's so quiet.
Aggie seems a little defensive when meeting other dogs and takes about a week to settle down and get to know them. She would probably be fine living with other non pushy dogs or by herself. She completely doesn't notice the cats, so she would do well with them too. Loves her toys and has moved onto destroying a few squeakers. She has so much fun I don't have the heart to take them away from her. I'll just keep buying cheap toys that won't matter if they get destroyed.
She gets cold easily but loves taking walks and exploring. She is perfectly housebroken. Pees as soon as she finds grass. Goes very easily on a leash so would be fine without a yard. I've been leaving her loose at night and she snores away on a dog bed. No accidents int he middle of the night at all. She has been crated during the work day and has no problem going 9 hours holding her pee in there. She doesn't seem particularly rushed to get outside as soon as I get home either. Not many small dogs have zero trouble holding it for a whole workday!
Aggie is perfectly behaved for bath time and for getting her nails trimmed. I was just able to dremel them with the large loud dremel that I use for giant dogs and she didn't even bat an eye. Takes pills and supplements very easily in a peanut butter spoon. She has no fear of the vacuum. Doesn't beg for food while your eating. Does like to dance around in the kitchen to 'help' cook, which is pretty darn cute!
She is probably the easiest Boston Terrier that I've ever met! If your interested in meeting Miss Aggie and in the northern Delaware area, just let me know and we can set up a date to meet somewhere. Aggie loves to give kisses! If your not in the area and interested in adopting Miss Aggie, we would love for you to fill out an application here
